👋 A hearty HiTide Welcome to Sharma Brands

Excited to announce a new agency partnership - with Sharma Brands!

Probably no introduction needed but here we go anyway:

Sharma Brands (founded by e-commerce superstar Nik Sharma) works with established brands like Bacardi and has also helped launch massive new successes such as Mr. Beast's Feastables 😎

Shout out to the amazing Sharma Brands team (especially Ari and Bailee!!) - their retention team is always looking for innovative ways to grow their brands and now HiTide is one such way.

We are thrilled to team up with the Sharma team! 🌟 Check out Sharma Brands here

Brands - as always please let us know if want an intro to the team!

An Excellent SMS automation checklist

There’s so much more to SMS marketing than just handing out discount codes.

Yotpo gave a solid rundown of the seven standard automated SMS marketing campaigns you should be sending once you have people on your list. It's always a good idea to experiment with:

  1. Welcome messages: personalized for that first impression

  2. Abandoned cart reminders: to bring them back to your store

  3. Order confirmation and updates: easy, direct, and convenient

  4. Product recommendations: for repeat buyers and upsells

  5. Winback messages: for inactive customers

  6. Date-triggered messages: based on birthdays, anniversaries, etc

  7. Loyalty offers: make sure current members use your benefits, and pitch nonmembers to join your loyalty program

Could be worthwhile to run through this list and try any categories you’re don’t already have in play.

People love to buy from people.

A personal introduction as part of an SMS welcome message could help humanize your interactions with customers.

Ran across this tweet from Habeeb reminding me of the impact of being a human to your customers, not just a marketer.

The “founder intro” text can work well whether you are positioned as a founder-led brand or not.

Better yet if you as the founder are set up to actually personally read and process responses!

Until next time!
